Airbag Testing on the Latest Isuzu MUX

Following testing with APV-T (Testing Facility for ANCAP) on the 2021 Isuzu MU-X with the latest airbag technology, SupaFit’s SupaCan and SupaDen seat covers both performed well above expectation. The baseline (no seat cover) tests resulted in the airbags fully inflating at 11.930ms on the outboard and 20.929ms on the far-side airbag.

The results:

In conclusion in testing both seat cover types, SupaFit® Seat Covers allowed deployment within 0.4 milliseconds and full inflation within 4 milliseconds of the baseline. SupaFit® Seat Covers are Australia’s Safest Seat Covers because the statistics support it.
